Brief Introduction / Description

Situated in the Upper Laurentians of Quebec (Les Hautes-Laurentides)
right next to the resort town of Mont-Tremblant, “La Carriole”
offers you both rest and enchantment.
Built right at the base of a curving range of mountains and
surrounded by 30,000 acres of private lands, you will be amazed at
the incredible riches of Mother Nature all around you. In a quiet
and relaxed setting, “La Carriole” will invite you to indulge in
hiking. cycling (including mountain biking), cross-country skiing
and snowshoeing (snowshoes can be rented) all over a 10 km plus
network of private forest trails. |

Whatever the season, you will be delighted by the spaciousness all around you. A
23 foot expanse of windows guarantees a breath-taking view. To add to the charm
of the place, you will enjoy the view from a balcony 40 feet way up high, a
cathedral ceiling and a foyer. What’s more, you will relive the atmosphere of
the real Quebec as seen in the works of the famous artist Jacques Meilleurs.

Cozy with a rustic charm, “La Carriole” offers you all the modern-day
conveniences to add to the pleasure of your stay such as a hide-away bed
in the den, micro-wave, coffee-maker etc, and also board games for your
amusement.

In the washroom you are invited to use our antique-style tub on four legs.

In the Upper Laurentians you will find the Mont-Tremblant Ranch situated
1 km from “La Carriole”. There you will be able to enjoy horseback
riding while taking delight in the lovely nature trails on the
mountains. (A discount certificate is available to our registered
guests.)

and artistic workshops in Ste-Agathe, St-Donat, Mont-Tremblant, etc.

IMPORTANT :

are in Canadian dollars.
- Prices
are for a maximum of 6 adults. There will be a $40 surcharge for each
additional person per weekend, or $60 per additional persron for a week.

include taxes (GST and QST), telephone (local calls only), electricity,
heating, wood, all linen, and snow removal.
- Arrival
at the cottage no earlier than 4pm. Departure no later than noon.
